Job description: Your Opportunity:
Under the general supervision of the Chronic Pain Centre Care Manager, this position contributes to the program’s effective and efficient operation by providing patient-focused administrative support. Primary responsibilities include reception duties, general filing of charts and loose paper, registering and booking client appointments in our booking system and Access database for groups. Data entry, file management, referral management, managing phone calls from clients, and assisting other administrative support staff are all roles for the Administrative Support III in the Chronic Pain Centre.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk course. Demonstrated proficiency in Clinibase, E-Clinibase, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Knowledge of basic document management. Must be able to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions. Recent experience providing administrative duties in a large interdisciplinary ambulatory care clinic serving patients with complex chronic conditions. Preferred Qualifications:
Keyboarding 50 to 55 words per minute with accuracy. Proficiency with Concerto/Soprano Disease Management System, RedCap. Knowledge of medical terminology.
