Join our effort to vaccinate over four million Albertans by applying to our COVID-19 vaccination administrative support team. With over four million Albertans to vaccinate in the coming year, we need your help to ensure our population is protected against COVID-19. As the Administrative Support III, you will provide support to the multi-disciplinary team members within our program. You will be responsible for greeting and wayfinding members of the general public, using computer applications to search client vaccination records and verifying and updating client demographic information. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required as per operational needs. This position will be located in Red Deer. From Two Hills to Drumheller, Lloydminster to Rocky Mountain House, and everywhere in between, welcome to the Alberta Health Services Central Zone. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:

Current enrolment in, or recent graduate of a diploma, certificate or undergrad degree program. Demonstrated accuracy and proficiency in intermediate computer and keyboarding skills; minimum 40 wpm required. Test will be administered. Demonstrated proficiency in working with Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar bookings and other Windows Office Suite programs required. Test will be administered. Accurate keyboarding skills. Must be able to perform repetitive motions on a keyboard for long periods of time. Must be physically able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must excel in a noisy and distracting environment. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs. Minimum 1 year customer service experience within the last 3 years. This position requires you to raise arms above head to appropriately don and doff PPE as well as lift equipment and supplies. Minimum of one (1) year experience providing administrative support in a medical or acute care setting within last two (2) years. Excellent communication skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with computer programs – Outlook, MS Office, Skype, SharePoint. Experience in E-Clinician and/or NetCare / PD. Experience in Meditech.
