Job description: Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Parking Services Site Manager, the incumbent performs the following duties including others as directed by management: Coordinate the administration of parking privileges to AHS staff, patients and visitors. Provide administrative support to the Parking Manager. Process payroll, daily work orders and invoice payments. Create and maintain parking operational reports, cash handling reports and other financial records including department and contractor invoicing. Create, prepare, maintain and analyze Excel Spreadsheets and maintain and analyze Access database files. Manage parking information using the AHS ePeople and T2 systems. Generate requisitions using the Oracle system. Parking deduction entry using ePeople. Generate daily work orders as required. Create, maintain and monitor site parking violation data and reports. Order and monitor general office supplies, placard inventory and operational supplies. First contact for equipment problems, violation appeals and unique parking requests. First contact for hospital security and contracted booth attendants. Prepare physician, contractor and non-AHS parking invoices. Track and reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and expenses using ePeople, T2 Systems and Excel. Perform and manage audit data reviews to meet scheduled deadlines. Analyze financial and operational data and recommend improvements to the Parking Manager. Facilitate calls to collect unpaid parking citations and parking fees. Coordinate situations involving towing vehicles. The employee would need to make on the spot decisions based upon the information provided. The majority of issues are customer service based.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Access and Excel. 2+ years experience in cash handling. 1+ years customer service experience. 2+ years of working experience in an environment dealing with irate customers. Knowledge of PCI compliance. Ability to walk 1-3kms. Ability to lift 11.34 (25lbs). Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year experience handling collections calls for unpaid citations, and parking fees an asset. 1+ years experience working at a License Registries an asset. Minimum 1 year experience working with a parking service. Knowledge of parking equipment reporting systems an asset. Knowledge of AHS ePeople and Oracle systems an asset. Knowledge of T2 Systems software and web interface an asset. 1+ years experience in business bookkeeping/accounting. 1+ years experience in financial auditing.
