Job description: Your Opportunity:

Home Living has an immediate opening for an Administrative Support IV with staff scheduling expertise. Working with a diverse team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting and supporting the Staffing Services team to ensure that daily staffing requirements are met based on requests from the various Home Care network offices, as required. Working under minimal guidance and direction, this position will utilize the Environment for Scheduling Personnel (ESP) application to complete complex and often urgent staff scheduling tasks within short timelines in a busy, high pressure office environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish priorities, proactively identify problems and issues of concern, and initiate problem resolutions. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of: filling pre-booked and immediate shifts that result from staff vacation, leave of absence, illness, and education leave; anticipating staffing needs and informing managers of shifts that require further attention; entering data for payroll; and providing scheduling reports, records, and statistical information.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of post-secondary education is required. Minimum of 1 year experience working with Workforce ESP Scheduler is required. Minimum of 1 year experience applying terms and conditions of the various Collective Agreements is required. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a payroll environment is required. Must have excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will have attained high level of proficiency in the MS Office Suite Computer keyboarding experience with a proven typing speed of 60 wpm (may be demonstrated through a skills test). Excellent skills in data entry is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language is required. Must be mature, self-motivated, and able to set priorities and meet firm deadlines. Demonstrates a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Physical demands of the job include: Sitting for extended periods. Listing office/medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Using repetitive motions. Lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods. Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Home Care experience is preferred. Familiarity with AHS policies and procedures.
