Job description: Your Opportunity:
This position works closely with the emergency department, inpatient units, and the site managers/flow coordinators of the PLC to facilitate patient flow throughout the site. The workflow is fast paced and requires great attention to detail. The successful candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. They must also be able to multi-task and be proficient with computers, office phones, and multi-function printers.

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience (minimum 2 years) working in a clerical position in acute care. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrated effective communication skills when dealing with staff, managers and physicians. Must have superior ability to organize and prioritize. Must be proficient with computer programs such as Connect Care, Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of inpatient units and services offered at the PLC preferred. Recent experience (within the past year) as a bed placement coordinator preferred.
