Job description: Your Opportunity:
This position reports to both the Program Manager of the Stollery, Community Outreach and School Based Services and the Program Manager of Community Clinics. The position is expected to assist in effective and efficient administrative management of a wide scope of responsibilities encompassing multiple sites and services. The position displays leadership within own peer group and for the office in general. This position will support two portfolios: Addiction and Mental Health, Children, Youth and Families – the Community Clinic portfolio and the Stollery, Community Outreach and School Based Services portfolio. This position includes supervision of the team of 14.50 Administrative Assistants, coordination and management of personal and confidential staff records, facilities management, workplace health and safety and financial support/administration as per AHS guidelines. The incumbent requires a high level of interpersonal skill, ability to provide clear direction, problem solve and make decisions based on program knowledge and best practice. This position will be located in the Strathcona Community Hospital in Sherwood Park.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Additional Required Qualifications:
High School diploma and Secretarial or Office Administration certificate/diploma required. Must have three to four years of administrative/secretarial experience, preferably within a health care setting. Experience working in a high-volume, time-intensive organization. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have advanced/intermediate knowledge of computer technology and applications including but not limited to: RMS, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet, e-Clinician, Connect Care and Oracle. Resilience, flexibility and adaptability in a complex, rapidly changing environment. Position requires excellent organizational/public relation skills; strong commitment to customer satisfaction; high level of tact and discretion; sound judgment and the ability to work independently under pressure and within short timelines-without compromise to quality. Minimum typing speed of 70 wpm, with excellent formatting, grammar, syntax and proof-reading skills and overall attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:
