Job description: Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform initial assessment with clients
Assist clients in obtaining job and career information
Refer clients to appropriate services and/or organizations
Assist clients to find employment when they are work ready and track clients employment status, periodically and offer job maintenance support as necessary
Provide information to the students regarding WCE and LLRIB Post-Secondary Student Support Program including funding, programs, scholarships, and summer employment opportunities as they arise
Ensure that student tracking sheets are maintained and updated after each semester
Operate the computer to record data and prepare documents for storage requiring spreadsheet and word processing programs
Submit statistical reports monthly and participate in monitors quarterly
Support students that are enrolled in the Adult Education Program
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent is necessary, some post-secondary is an asset
Five years experience in adult education & training
Knowledge and understanding of adult education and/or post-secondary policies
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software; Word, Excel, etc.
Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers licence, with a satisfactory drivers abstract
Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check
