Job description: Naturally Pacific Resort offers an escape into Vancouver Island’s greatest outdoor playground. Located in Campbell River, BC with breathtaking mountain and ocean views, we will offer one of the premier hospitality experiences on Vancouver Island. Scheduled to open in January 2024 this destination resort will be complete with a 100-room luxury hotel, extraordinary dining, a luxury spa, an outdoor pool space, as well as a spectacular 18-hole golf course.

In this unique new role, the Apprentice Cook will have the opportunity to work and receive valuable training in a premium kitchen environment. This is a full-time position that will require the candidate to work in different kitchens on the property. The Apprentice Cook is an enthusiastic member of the Culinary Apprenticeship program and will learn a variety of different cooking styles and techniques in this exciting opportunity.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen.
• Passionate about Culinary Arts with a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Culinary school is considered an asset.
