Kraft Heinz Marketers are focused on the 4 P’s: Product, Place, Price & Promotion. These brand fundamentals are key to driving new marketing strategies, including product innovation and breakthrough communications. Our Marketers leverage consumer insights and analytics to develop new products, advertising strategies and support plans, working closely with cross-functional teams and external agency partners.
As an Associate Brand Manager, you will have a blended role of executing brand marketing plans as well as contributing to strategic developments to deliver short and long-term revenue, profit and share targets in line with corporate objectives. You will communicate the strategic vision for your cross-functional team and support complex processes by inspiring them with your passion and excitement for your brands. You will also further enhance your technical marketing skills through on-going execution of Marketing Plans.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the development of the marketing plan through research, analysis and supporting activities as directed. This includes identification of market opportunities/issues, retail business priorities and the presentation of options.
- Act as analytics lead, sharing actionable insights from diverse sources, from Nielsen consumption data through consumer research and competitive reviews. These findings will be used to develop recommendations for 4P strategies & execution, innovation, packaging and consumer promotions.
- Translates business goals into action plans and develops the appropriate contingency plans.
- Evaluates the performance of executed strategic programs and advertising campaigns to ascertain their effectiveness in meeting brand objectives.
- Leads the launch of new products, including research, packaging, product development and design, in-store and consumer programs and merchandising solutions.
- Builds strong relationships and draws on the expertise of cross-functional business partners including sales, finance and legal to make solid, well-rounded business decisions and recommendations.
- Budget lead, ensuring efficient spend and providing ongoing tracking and management
- Leads social strategy and customer service, including copywriting / editing and creating assets.
- Collaborates with sales team and graphic designer to develop retail POS materials, presentations, sell sheets, coupons, and digital ad campaigns.
- Maintain and execute annual content marketing calendar for social, newsletter, influencer, PR, and digital storytelling.
- Collaborates with sustainability partners, Fairtrade, Organic, B Corp, Bullfrog Power, Climate Smart and other like-minded brands on joint campaigns, contests, and events
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate university degree in business is required, MBA is considered an asset
- Demonstrated leadership, drive for results and superior execution
- Superior interpersonal communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
- Strong project management skills, as well as, managing conflicting priorities simultaneously
- Experience in digital marketing, social media advertising, google analytics and email
- Experienced content creator, including copywriting
- Solid understanding of current SEO best practices
- Solid analytical, problem solving skills
- Understanding of consumer behaviors and motivations
- Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas, understand brand strategies and business solutions
- Knowledge of and ability to gather, interpret and apply multiple consumer/industry insights and trends
