Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a National Account Manager responsible for the Toys R Us Account, managing the Dolls and Vehicle Portfolios. The role is responsible for building strategic account plans to achieve both account and Mattel goals.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive revenue growth and new points of distribution
- Business planning and forecasting
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring regular engagement through meetings, calls, and industry events. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, planning, and logistics teams to align strategies and optimize account performance.
- Manages assignments such that business opportunities are identified and plans are in place to realize them digitally and bricks-and-mortar.
- Effective management of O&A budget and spend
- Manage day-to-day account details internally and externally, including order/shipping follow-up, in-store distribution, sales information/product samples, quote sheets and item set-up, inventory management & requests from accounts
- Review weekly reports, customer sales and marketing programs and other data as necessary. Recommend solutions and actions to achieve account plus Mattel goals
- Interacts regularly with business and extended Mattel teams to support and enhance the business
- Ad-hoc reports and projects as needed
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years sales/ecomm experience selling into National Accounts and/or distributors.
- A self-starter with a hunter mentality and relentless focus on growing the business and achieving sales goals
- E-commerce experience is a must
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a team environment
- People leadership experience is an asset
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
- Excellent organizational & analytical skills, including forecasting experience
- Strong PC skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) required
- Cognos skills an asset
- Toy business experience is an asset
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
