RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
We are looking for a motivated candidate to work as a clinical research clerk. They will need to be able to work alone, under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

General Duties

• Contact and schedule participants appointments by phone and email,
• Answer participants call-backs,
• Maintain call logs,
• Accomplishing any other administrative/clerical tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.

Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC)

Work Experience: 0 to 6 months

Other Requirements:

• Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Attention to detail and accuracy,
• Demonstrate good judgment,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Additional information

Status: Temporary occasional, between 5 and 20 hours per week maximum
Pay Scale: $18.29 to $27.43 per hour, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: Flexible
Work Site: Montreal General Hospital
