Who You Are
- 2-3 years Accounts Receivable Experience
- Understanding of freight industry, specifically accessorial charges
- Excel
- Netsuite
- JIRA
- ERP systems
- Ability to map and understand complex data flows and impact to invoicing/ payment application
What You’ll Do
- Manage on-account & credit card customer accounts receivable:
- Identify and escalate overdue balances
- Contact customers daily through email and phone to discuss delinquent balances
- Document collection activity and maintain records of collections activity
- Respond to AR inquiries account inquires and provide customers with statements and reconciliations
- Ensure cash and payment application is accurate and timely
- Take and apply credit card payments as necessary
- Monitor customer credit limits and ensure outstanding receivables do not exceed limits – promose changes to limits when appropriate
- Manage financial execution of claims:
- Review claim payments to customers before they are sent for processing
- Ensure financial system, statements and reporting are accurate in partnership with claims team
- Build strong relationships with the Freight Club sales team acting as a central service for collections and payments
- Attending various meetings to provide an update on any foreseen issues relating to the AR

Compensation
We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. The Salary Range for this role is between $50,000 and $75,000 depending on experience, skills, training and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. This compensation range reflects the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or above the midpoint of the range for their role. Only in rare and exceptional circumstances, where a candidate has the experience, skills and expertise to far exceed those required for the position, will we consider paying above the midpoint of the range for this role.
