Job description: TeraSpan Networks Inc is a full-service telecommunications solutions provider. We take pride in delivering the fiber optic infrastructure needed to support high speed / high bandwidth demanding services and data transmission. We provide a variety of solutions for carriers, municipalities, healthcare authorities and private network operations. Our solutions include full turnkey network deployments (FTTx), consulting and design, network maintenance, dark fiber lease/IRU and micro-trench network deployment products.
We are looking for a highly motivated individuals with a solid track record of delivering telecommunications construction projects on time and within budget. Customer satisfaction is our key focus and the ideal candidate will pride themselves in delivering projects that meet and exceed customer expectations.
The key responsibility of the Field Construction Workerager is to deliver fiber optic network deployment projects on time and on budget. The FCM is also responsible for providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise assigned field construction leads
- Ensure timely construction material / equipment site call-out and delivery.
- Monitor and report performance of projects
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Ensure compliance with municipal requirements (permits, inspections, etc)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a Construction Workeragement role with relevant Telecommunications experience
- Effective communicator, both written and oral
- Previous experience managing multifunctional direct reports
- Process and detail oriented
