As a general contractor, Canado Contracting offers commercial interior design and decoration servers to our business partners conducted by experienced cub-contractors.

In order to better managing our ongoing and future projects across Canada, Canado Contracting is looking for an extremely experienced project manager who has interior design and decoration project background as well as overall project management capacity and familiarly with daily operation model of Chinese hotpot restaurants.

Position Requirements:

• Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Interior Design

• Work Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of restaurant interior design and decoration project management

• Other Requirements:

• Familiar with daily operation model and needs in various aspects such as space, equipment and maintenance of Chinese hot pot restaurants
• Have the ability to manage a team of 5-10 sub contractors in order to conduct restaurant innovation projects
• Able to read blueprints and knowledge in material selection in interior design field
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents
• Have good problem-solving skills and be goal-oriented
• Proficiency in Office and Project Management software

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In charge with communicate and coordination of internal and external departments involved in the projects
• Create reasonable construction plan with sub contractors and business partners
• Manage daily operation of project sites
• Provide feasibility analysis and suggestions to the construction plans and engineering drawings
• Ensure all work meet completion status requirement at different stages of the projects
• Organize on-site work meetings to strengthen personal safety awareness
• Organize and arrange intermediate and final acceptance
• Complete other tasks arranged

Wage:

$45.00 per hour ($67.50 overtime rate after 44 hours work per week)

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Location of Work:

This position requests candidate work on different locations assigned by the employer based on schedule of each projects. Currently we have projects launched and will be launched in the following locations:

• 5328 Hwy 7 Markham, ON L3P 1B9 (finished, will conduct maintains work)
• 1571 Sandhurst Cir, Toronto ON M1V 1V2 (finished, will conduct maintains work)
• 237 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 1N8 (ongoing)
• 1194 Saint-Catherine St W, Montreal, QC H3B 1K1 (going to be launched)
• 77 City Centre Dr, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5 (going to be launched)

More projects will be launch in the future
