Our client is searching for their next Site Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and material/equipment deliveries to ensure timely completion of the project
- Regularly review quality of work performed to ensure subcontractors are compliant with contracted scope of work, quality assurance, quality control, health and safety and environmental regulations
- Plan and attend regular subcontractor meetings to coordinate the project work on site
- Maintain and update project schedule, identify conflicts in the progress of the work and communicate issues to project team for resolution
- Identify and manage any deficiencies
- Work with the project team to facilitate required inspections with consultants and local jurisdictions
- Maintain daily log of activities on-site, provide a weekly schedule and maintain project documentation
- Provide orientation and training to all new site personnel in accordance with the Health and Safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wood-frame and concrete construction
- Proven track record of being able to plan and manage projects at the site level
- Level 1 first aid certification – preferred
- Computer Skills
- Motivated and ambitious team player with high attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize several complex scenarios at once
- Valid Driver’s License
- Other preferred skills/ abilities
- Diploma in relevant field an asset
