The Technology Support and Operations Division uses a one-government approach to Information Management and Technology (IMT) governance, decision-making and service delivery across the Government of Alberta balanced with individual business partner needs.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Lead of Office Equipment Services, this Contract Administrator is responsible for:

  • The acquisition and asset management of Multifunctional Devices such as photocopiers and scanners for the specific client ministries within our portfolio.
  • Client support, fair trading and procurement practices, product research, and asset management services.
  • To develop and enhance partnerships with clients, ensure maximum delivery and support of services as defined in the operating agreements, work with the vendor community to understand equipment options, analyze data resulting in cost savings for Government of Alberta clients, and to resolve problems and issues in a timely manner.

The incumbent is required to demonstrate:

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of progressively responsible related experience in Customer Service.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Equivalencies: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of:

  • One year of experience for one year of education or
  • One year of education for one year of experience.

Assets:

  • Experience with technical components of photocopy and facsimile equipment.
  • Experience working with procurement and financials using ERP systems similar to SAP Ariba – Procurement and Supply Chain Solution software.
  • Experience in procurement tendering processes.
  • Experience with asset management.
  • Experience in invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • Experience in maintaining Access data base.
  • Experience in creating pivot tables.
