Job description: Bridgeway Support Services, a division of Bridgeway Family Homes (a Foster Care Agency), is seeking highly-skilled Child and Youth Workers to support families, children, and youth who are experiencing a range of social, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges through a goal-focused service. You will be part of a team and your role will be to provide services in the client’s home and the community.

We are looking for individuals to provide services between 15 – 25 hours per week with a typical part-time schedule that includes providing services during the week after school (between the hours of 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm), occasional weekday daytime hours, and some weekend sessions. As previously stated, this is a part-time role, and schedules are based on our client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Development of goal-focused activities
• Implementation of programs
• Behavior Management
• Case notes and Reports

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related Social Service Diploma or Degree
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Organizational, Administrative, and Report-Writing Skills
• Knowledge of FASD, ODD, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and other diagnoses is beneficial

Requirements:

• Current Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Welfare Record Check
• Driver’s Abstract, ‘G’ Class Driver’s License and Insured Vehicle with $2 million liability insurance
