Bridgeway Support Services, a division of Bridgeway Family Homes, is seeking highly-skilled Child and Youth Workers to support families, children and youth who are experiencing a range of social, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges through a goal-focused service. You will be part of a team and your role will be to provide services in the client’s home and in the community.

We are looking for individuals to provide services between 15 – 25 hours per week with a typical part-time schedule that includes providing services during the week with daytime and evening hours between 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm and some weekend sessions. As previously stated, this is a part-time role, and schedules are based on our client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Development of goal-focused activities.
• Implementation of programs.
• Behaviour Management.
• Case notes as required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related Social Service Diploma or Degree.
• Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Organizational, Administrative and Report-Writing Skills.
• Knowledge of FASD, ODD, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and other diagnosis are beneficial.

Requirements:

• Current Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Welfare Record Check.
• Driver’s Abstract, ‘G’ Class Driver’s License and Insured Vehicle.
• Computer.
