Located downtown, our client, a public SME in a high growth industry, is looking for a Controller to join its team.

It takes an expert to place one!

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limed to the following:

• Supervise a team
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closings, preparation of management, financial and board reports, and required external reporting
• Responsible for financial audits and communication with external auditors
• Tax support, SRED
• Be involved in treasury and budgeting
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining all financial controls
• Develop, manage, and build a top tier team that proactively drives continuous improvement and works with a collaborative mentality

Qualifications

• CPA
• 3-10 years of experience
• Big 4 experience an asset
• Autonomous and able to set priorities and achieve goals
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment
• Strong leadership and ability to take ownership of projects and accomplish them
• Results and deadline driven
• Bilingual: English and French
