Job description: THE POSITION

The Brattle Group is seeking a part-time Client Relationship Manager (CRM) Intern to join any of our North American offices. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, enjoy researching, have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, understand the importance of data quality, and be capable of filtering through/reviewing large amounts of data. This internship also provides the unique opportunity for students to observe firsthand how the CRM ties into business development and firm initiatives.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Improve CRM data quality by: updating contact records; assisting with managing bounce backs; merging duplicate records; and resolving data discrepancies
  • Categorize (“tag”) contacts based on biographic and curriculum vitae information to support Brattle’s marketing efforts
  • Learn Brattle consultants’ areas of practice and industry focus, to enable development of accurate, tailored lists
  • Assist with data cleansing prioritization by analyzing data from predefined searches and making decisions based on these results in conjunction with understanding business needs
  • Support all data processes for the annual holiday card project, including working with consultants and administrative staff on list review
  • Attend ad-hoc marketing meetings

THE CANDIDATE

  • A student with a bachelor’s degree, pursuing a Master’s in Library Science
  • Excellent written/spoken English
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Superb data manipulation skills, especially within databases and Excel
  • Exhibit a desire to learn, participate and take ownership for workload
  • Interest in knowledge management
