Requirements and Nature of Work:

Soutenir le développement, la planification et le matériel du prochain symposium/conférence sur les sciences de l’occupation de la Société canadienne des sciences de l’occupation (SCSO). Les fonctions et les tâches incluront la collaboration avec le président de la SCSO et l’assistant(e) administrative pour rédiger les invitations, la liste des courriels pour l’envoi des invitations, la collaboration avec le conseil d’administration pour finaliser l’objectif de l’appel à communications (abstracts) , la rédaction d’annonces à utiliser sur le site Web, la révision et la mise à jour du formulaire de soumission des communications (abstracts), préparer un formulaire de critères des réviseurs, préparer un appel aux réviseurs. Analyser les données de la conférence précédente. Préparer un rapport sur les conférences passées du CSOS et créer une archive des articles, des présentations et des affiches des conférences précédentes, qui sera affichée sur le site web. Travailler sur des documents à publier sur le site web de la CSOS.

Qualifications minales:

Étudiant au doctorat

Expérience en Ergothérapie un atout.

Support the development, planning and materials for the next Occupational Science Symposium/conference for the Canadian Society for Occupational Science CSOS. Duties and tasks will include working with the President of CSOS and the administrative assistant to draft the conference program invites, the list of emails for sending invites, work with the board of director to finalize the focus of the call for abstracts, drafting ads for use on the website, review and update the abstract submission form, set up the reviewers criteria form, set up a call for reviewers for the abstracts. Analyze data from the previous conference. Prepare a report on past conferences by CSOS and create an archive of the articles and conference presentations and posters from previous conferences to be posted on the website. Work on documents for posting on the CSOS website.

PhD student

Background in Occupational Therapy is an asset.
