Job description: Our client requires a Data Governance Analyst to help thier Financial Institution in providing technical and consultative leadership to IT and the enterprise in a regulated, hybrid multi-cloud environment. The incumbent will play a key part in data governance, stewardship, and documentation with a drive to increase the overall data value of the enterprise through process and technical initiatives to improve data quality, acquisition, security, use and structure.
Must Have:
- 3+ years involvement with data governance and stewardship.
- Strong experience with Metadata Management tools and data classification standards.
- Experience with using source control and DataOps processes.
- Strong Experience with at least 2 of the following: SQL development, Python, Data mapping tools/agents, Data Mining, C# for Database Applications, Java, Machine Learning Tools, Natural Language Processing tools.
- Experience working with data models, data flows and databases and associated tools.
- Previous experience in creating and maintaining data dictionaries, catalogs and reference databases.
?Nice to Have:
- Preference given to candidates with experience working with system integration partners/vendors.
- Strong preference given to candidates with data governance or oversight experience in a financial services or other heavily regulated environment.
- Preference given to candidates with previous database administrator experience.
- Preference given to candidates with experience working with IAAS, PAAS and SAAS platforms as they relate to Data.
- Preference given to candidates with previous people management experience.
Specialization and Skills: Data Analytics Data Analyst 5 – 7 years
