Responsibilities:

· Check the daily schedule for accuracy and opportunities.

· Optimizes Clinic appointment book to achieve weekly and monthly revenue budgets through

treatment plan monitoring, patient information flow, and continuous patient contact

· Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism.

· Provide the clinic with administrative and practical support when requested.

· Establish and facilitate long-term patient relationships

· Gather and accurately record medical, personal, and insurance information from patients; ensure this information is updated for existing patients.

· Accurately file patient information, seeing that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with privacy and security regulations.

· Manage recall and inactive patient system.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2 years of previous dental administration experience preferred, but not required.

· Good interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members, and community; a team player.

· Customer service or patient relations experience; conflict resolution experience.

· Able to adapt to and drive office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).

· Knowledge of ABELDent or any dental software desired.
