Job description: S.i. System’s distribution client is looking for a Director of Information Systems to manage a team of 10 and create a 3-5 year IT roadmap. The Director of Information Systems (IS) is responsible for managing all functions of the IS department, including supervision of staff and technology contractors, all aspects of technology services, including hardware and software acquisitions, software development, integrations, help desk support, and project management activities. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver efficient, innovative, and cost-effective technology platforms and solutions to the business.
PROJECTS:
- ERP replacement from scratch
- New HRIS System
- CRM, BI & integration projects
- Infrastructure projects specifically around disaster recovery, backup & migraiton work
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ year’s experience managing SDLC
- 10+ years’ experience implementing custom or off the shelf (COTS) software solutions
- 5+ years leadership experience directing technology operations
- Understanding of privacy law and PCI compliance standards
- Experience with ERP operations and ecommerce solutions
NICE TO HAVES:
- Background in software development, integrations, or COTS project management
- Experience managing information systems in multiple geographic locations and working in a warehouse/ logistics environment
- Experience implementing a new ERP system
- Agile experience or certification
