Job Description:

Position Overview:

As the Director of IT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization. You will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals and be responsible for developing and executing the company’s IT strategy, with a strong emphasis on cloud-based networks, IT governance, and IT security. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure, ultimately contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

– Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

– Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based networks and infrastructure.

– Establish and enforce IT governance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

– Manage IT security, including cybersecurity measures, data protection, and compliance with industry regulations.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for process improvement.

– Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and solutions to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

– Manage the IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize resource allocation.

– Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems, services, and applications.

– Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

– Proven experience (at least 7 years) in IT leadership roles, with a focus on cloud-based networks, IT governance, and IT security.

– Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud architecture.

– Expertise in IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and IT security best practices.

– Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects and initiatives.

– Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

– Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
