Job description: We are currently seeking our next ERP Solutions Analyst to join Great Canadian Gaming for an approximate twelve month contract. As part of our OneIT team, reporting to the Director, ERP Solutions this position is responsible for ERP solutions related activities that support the HR, Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations, providing user support and updating requirements and training materials.
The key accountabilities and responsibilities of the position are:
- Collecting business requirements •Performing business process analysis •Preparing gap analysis •Researching system configuration and functionality •Preparing technical and user documentation •Conducting configuration activities •Creating test documentation •Performing testing •Providing training to ERP champions across relevant organization functions •Maintaining ERP system configuration documentation as well as contributes to knowledgebase maintained by IT Helpdesk •Providing 3rd level of application support for ERP systems •Developing standard and ad hoc reports as required ensuring integrity of data transactions through applied business rules •Recommending and implementing improvements to ERP solutions
Participating in the project planning, management and execution to ensure successful delivery of ERP projects •Liaising and communicating effectively with the development team and all appropriate operational departments in a variety of communication mediums, including leading meetings •Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders •Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and positive service oriented communication
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in IT or Commerce or Finance or a suitable combination of education and experience •8 or more years of experience with ERP solutions analysis and configurations
Superior ability to translate business needs into technical specifications •Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply business requirements to IT solutions •Advanced skill in MS Excel is required •Cognos and SQL experience is preferred •Knowledge of ERP time and attendance systems (Kronos and Virtual Roster), JD Edwards, Oracle •Cloud or other ERP is required
