About the Role:

The Finance Manager will lead the financial controllership, analysis, and business support for Amplifon Canada. The incumbent will lead and manage month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and present Canada’s financial results regularly to regional and global teams. They will maintain accurate financial models that monitor our performance targets and will collaborate with leadership to establish strategies and drive efficient business planning.

As a trusted advisor, the Finance Manager will maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and partners across North American & global teams. They leverage financial and business acumen to provide counsel on ambiguous problems. They will partner with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and communicate risks and opportunities of the P&L that will influence the strategic direction of North America’s finance organization.

The Finance Manager will work to optimize our investments in key markets by executing the financial due diligence for the P&L and balance sheet. They will partner with business development teams to provide thorough M&A analysis and insights that contribute to the integration, communication, and timeline of acquired clinics.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
  • CPA, CA, CMA CGA designation
  • 4-5 years’ experience in financial reporting or FP&A

Required Skills:

  • Experience with BI, JD Edwards, Oracle, or other large ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; expert in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of IFRS and the implications on financial results
  • Exceptional analysis and synthesis skills with the ability to tell a story
  • Highly organized and ability to deliver against competing priorities
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization and creating action plans
  • Proactive, takes initiative and have continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with retail or healthcare industry is a preferred
  • Experience in a large multi-national or publicly traded corporation is preferred
  • Experience with M&A is a plus

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Possess the mobile dexterity necessary to operate audiological equipment and to execute the fitting and molding of hearing aid devices
  • Able to move equipment up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching
  • Able to work on-site in the environment described above to perform the essential functions of this job
