Job description: We are assisting our client with the hiring of a Front-End Loader Operator in their Richmond location. This is a Morning shift from 7am to 3pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain Front End Loader this includes the circle check as outlined in the operations manual prior to commencing work.

• Report any mechanical or operational problems to a supervisor immediately.

• Clean machine when required.

• Control the quality of recyclables being loaded on the line to ensure that all large sized non recyclables be removed from the material prior to being loaded on the metering conveyor.

• All non-recyclables are to be loaded directly into residue bin.

• Communicate with spotter with regard to trucks being directed to the tipping floor.

• Ensure that the Tip Floor area is kept clean and in an orderly condition at all times. This includes the outside material receiving tip floor door area.

• Ensure the metering conveyor pit is kept clean from all debris and material on a daily basis. If this requires entering the pit, must follow the safety procedure as outlined in the Canada Fibers Health and Safety Manual reference policy CFL HS 036 confine space and CFL HS020 lock out procedure.

• Be sure to take all proper precaution while driving the loader as each operator will be held accountable for all or any damage that may occur while in operation.

• Other duties may be assigned with operational changes.

Requirements

Wear all mandatory personal protective equipment as assigned. This includes the following but is not limited to:

• CSA approved Safety Shoes

• Hearing Protection o Dust Masks (when required)

• High Visibility Clothing

• Gloves o Safety Glasses

• CSA approved Hard Hats
