Adecco is hiring immediately for a temporary, Part-Time General Labour to work for one of our client who is a full-service partner to both leading and emerging brands and specializes in the development and manufacturing of high-performance personal care and beauty products. * Pay rate: $15.00/hour up to $16.00/hour

• Location: Etobicoke, ON
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm OR Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm OR Sunday to Thursday, 11:30 pm to 7:30 am (Flexibility to work at least 2 days required)
• Job type: Part-time

• Work on assembly line in production of finished goods and Work in Process (WIP), following Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform on-line and off-line inspections and sort goods.
• Perform rework, inspections and clean up assignments when not assigned to line.
• Responsible for meeting daily production requirements when packing or inserting materials.
• Maintain quality standards by performing visual inspections to ensure finished goods conform to quality standards ensuring finished goods are packaged correctly.
• Ensure quantities of packaged finished goods are accurate.
• Consistently contribute to team productivity by performing duties properly and in a timely manner.
• Responsible and accountable for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in training new workers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with plant procedure, rules and regulations.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner using proper tools and wearing appropriate protective equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To qualify, you should: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

• At least 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Able and willing to work overtime where needed, inclusive of weekend shifts
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction
• Ability to perform routine or repetitive work
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in a warehouse, factory or manufacturing or experience as a packer, warehouse worker, general labour, laborer, or order picker will be considered an asset.
