Job title: General Labourer

Job description: GUNN Contracting is based on Southern Vancouver Island and works on several construction projects, renovations, upgrades, and other servicing projects. We have been in the industry for 4 years with various customers across Victoria, the capital regional district, and beyond. We are seeking general laborers to join our team.

Wage: $18-25 based on experience + benefits after the prohibition period.

You will act as a team player who works well with others, reviews and follows written and verbal directions well. You will demonstrate good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a skilled laborer with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

· Positive attitude, highly dependable, with excellent attendance and punctuality.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Safety conscious, hardworking, and a quick learner

· Usual work schedule is 8hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Should be available to work occasional weekends and overtime.

· Physically capable of duties as the job could require a combination of squatting, bending, twisting, and turning multiple times throughout the day- every day.

· Must be based on close proximity to Langford, Victoria, or Vancouver Island (or willing to move).
