Job title: General Labourer (Sudbury)

Job description: Fountain Tire Sudbury (Commercial), an established local business, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as a General Labourer.

Pay: $16-$20/hour (based on experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
• Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride in the work you’ve done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:

• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 50KG is required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
• A valid G2 driver’s license is required at a minimum, those with G1 licenses will not be considered. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver’s abstract
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• A team player who takes pride in their work
