ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a leader in restoration in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Specializing in the restoration process of fire and water damage to building structures.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a restoration technician you will get the opportunity to work in various restoration projects including fire, water and smoke damage, using specialized equipment to restore structures back to functional operation. This opportunity will give you opportunities to grow your own skills within the restoration field expanding your knowledge and expertise within the industry. There is also opportunity to grow into a supervisory role.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Carrying equipment and construction debris
Quick response to damage including fire, water and smoke
Extracting water from flooded structures using extraction equipment
Taking moisture readings
Setting up commercial drying equipment
Performing demolition to remove damaged or wet materials
Cleaning and maintaining equipment
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to communicate in English written and orally
High level of attention to detail
Able to lift to 75lbs
Must be able to work in all types of conditions (hot, cold, wet, and dusty)
Must be able to work Monday through Friday and on-call hours (evenings and weekends
Driver’s License
