Job Summary:
This role will entail supporting the implementation and maintenance for a Time and Attendance, Concur and SAP S/4 HANA implementation (SuccessFactors being the core HR), and then will transition to a support and future projects role. Ultimately, the HRIS IT Analyst role will be responsible for configuration and providing level 3 support of all modules of the HRIS solutions.
Working closely with IT colleagues and HR specialists, external vendors on complex fast-paced projects in a collaborative team setting. Documenting and establishing best practices, while following IT procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides intermediate to advanced-level knowledge of the core HR WorkForce Management systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur Expense Management, Workforce Software Time and Attendance)
- Analyze the current business requirement and processes and recommend / develop solutions to meet the business needs
- Configuration of HR systems based on HR requirements
- Assist in developing functional specification for developments/interfaces
- Understanding of Integration/APIs and security
- Tier 3 Support & Troubleshooting
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field such as Business Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or another closely related field.
- SAP Concur/SuccessFactors Certification (SFX) – while not mandatory, considered an asset
Experience:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in Human Resources systems configuration, development and support
- SAP Concur and/or SAP S/4 HANA experience would be considered an asset
- Workforce Software – Time and Attendance functional and/or configuration experience
- Payroll configuration experience considered an asset
- Database/Data Modelling experience
- Experience with SQL and/or other database tools
- Previous project management or project coordination experience
- Previous involvement in HR workforce management configurations, implementations, modifications and upgrades of time and attendance initiatives including gathering and defining requirements, gap analysis, design, development and support
- Experience in the configuration of as many of the SuccessFactors modules listed: Platform, Employee Central, Recruiting/on-boarding (RCM/RMK), Performance and Goals, Succession/development, Learning, Compensation, examples of the configuration requirements listed below:
- Role Based Permissions (all suites) – Set-up & configuration SME
- Business Rules Configuration & Management
- Upgrade Center; For example: IAS (Identity authentication service)
- Integration Center (exporting data out to other areas/systems & used for integration with other systems)
- Employee Foundational Data Architecture/PM – Acquisitions & new Legal Entities/Divisions
- Mass Change Requests & mass data imports/updates (more complex requests)
- API Center (API Management, Audit management)
- Security Center
- New & Enhancements – Receiving requirements & build technical functional specs; Support HR &HRIS
- Ex: New fields – Technical configuration (Object Definitions (data model)
