Position Summary: The Implementation Specialist is responsible for after sale service. They are responsible for database set up in a manner that promotes the long-term success of the customer’s investment. Once a sale is completed, the customer is handed off to the on boarding and support teams. The ultimate goal is customer success, by ensuring the customer adopts the software, and customer retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following and other duties as assigned.
- Be the point of contact during on boarding period and responsible for the successful implementation of the system for the customer.
- Work closely with sales team to understand customer needs, especially with larger accounts.
- Set up kick off meeting with customer to explain on-boarding process, timelines, and expectations, through web conferences.
- Ultimately responsible for getting customer data integrated into the software (buildings, users, asset lists).
- Format and validate data that has been provided by the customer, so that it can be imported into their database.
- Educate customers on best practices for data collection and delivery.
- Build, deliver, and execute a project plan, often in conjunction with a supporting Technology Project Manager.
- Identifying issues and effectively pivoting resources to keep the project moving forward.
- Support Implementation Managers.
- Be responsive and deliver high quality and friendly support.
- Responsible for managing multiple projects at a time, for various customers
- Understand the various needs and requirements of customers coming from different industries (healthcare, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, etc.).
- Be proactive in managing implementations. Will not wait for the customer to send data, if they are late or falling behind, be assertive and keep them on track.
- Be a product specialist and learn customer business needs (for various industries).
- Manage and report customer feedback for product improvement.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex customer needs.
- Provide documentation and support for the Sales & Customer Support teams.
