Job description: Our valued financial client is seeking an Intermediate Agile Coach for an initial 4-month contract (100% remote) with likelihood of extension.
As the successful candidate you will support 7 distinct non-IT initiatives and lead various business professionals towards a more agile and innovative way of working.
The distinct initiatives are being run out of a newly established “Innovation Lab” within Canadian Trade and are focused on delivering new business development strategies and ways of entering new markets.
Responsibilities:
- Be a facilitator who coaches team members in applying Agile practices, processes, and behaviors for executing effectively and with quality; raises the performance of delivery teams through work prioritization, backlog management, innovation practices, and meeting
- Coaching the team on innovation practices and experimentation execution
- Lead the adoption and consistent use of agile techniques, tools, and standard practices across the various business project teams
- Proactively align diverse international business professionals to reach desired outcomes
- Support continuous delivery of top priority work to advance initiatives
- Assist with program governance and reporting including tracking initiative milestones and benefits realization in standard corporate system (Planview and Azure Dev Ops)
- Promoting and supporting the use of Agile mindset
- Coaching the team on Agile theory, practices, principles, and values
- Provides coaching on how to effectively prioritize and manage items their backlog of innovation experiments.
- Enable and empower the team to break-down their work into small manageable tasks.
- Creating a culture of fail-safe, fail better to encourage innovation.
Must-have Skills
- 2+ years’ experience as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master
- Experience with experimentation backlog and innovation/experiment management including creating a creative, experimentive culture
- Experience working in financial services, banking, or insurance industries
- Experience with Project Management & Change Management in Non-IT projects (financial services / products preferred)
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with design thinking for financial products
Specialization and Skills: Project Management Agile Scrum Master 2 – 4 years
Project Manager – Business 2 – 4 years

Valid GoC Reliability clearance (Must-have)
Work Environment: 7.5 hrs a day, 5 days a week. 100% remtoe.
