Job title: IT Business Analyst

Job description: Well established in Ville St-Laurent, this international company and pioneer in its field is looking for an IT Business Analyst with significant and recent experience in the use of business analysis techniques in an IT environment.

This is a full-time position, temporary for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension, remotely 100%.

Main Responsibilities:
_ Gathering needs for IT solution
_ Inform all stakeholders of any changes brought to the different processes and systems
_ Complete all the documentation needed
_ Participate in system approval tests
_ Refining requirements
_ Designing workflows
_ Problem solving side by side with developers, IT local support and other stakeholders
_ Composing and presenting communications to audiences of varying degrees of technical understanding
_ Liaison with business units and internal stakeholders, from the demand intake up to the hand-off of the solution to the business
_ Work in coordination with the business units and the analytics team in an agile way to deliver on identified initiatives
_ Lead the scoping and prioritization exercise of the initiatives
_ Perform the current state assessment and document future state
_ Organize meetings with clients and coordinate communications concerning the development tasks and tests
_ Ensure requirement traceability for version deliveries (sprint mode)
_ Carry out functional analyses to identify information, procedures and decision flows
_ Evaluate the procedures and exit methods and propose improvements
_ In cases of integrating systems: define and document interfaces and integration points.

Job qualifications:
_ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Analysis, Finance or related field
_ 3 years of business analyst experience
_ In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
_ Experience with CRM project, an asset.
_ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
_ Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally
_ Bilingual French / English
