Overview of the role
Saputo is looking for a Cyber Security senior analyst in Montreal or Toronto with a Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its security features. Reporting to the IT Manager Security and Compliance, the analyst will contribute to define the safeguards needed, and to influence the evolution of the company’s security standards and controls. The analyst is responsible for research, evaluate, recommend, and implement security controls and process to maintain and improve Saputo’s cybersecurity posture.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Cyber Security operation
- Experience with cloud security architecture, including identity and access management, data protection, network security, and threat protection
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft security technologies such as Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview
- You will provide analysis, evaluations, and recommendations to improve system consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness
- This person will conduct risk assessments and provides recommendations for system and application design.
- Assess, Investigate with Azure and Office365 security tools and provide recommendations
- Implement and monitor Microsoft Cloud App Security for Saputo Cloud deployed applications
- Involve and Investigate security incidents with incident response team
- Provide vulnerabilities remediation recommendations and contributor to Vulnerability management program
- Interact with Network and infrastructure team to improve security posture
- Work with business units to ensure new processes or services meet security requirements.
- Interpret current or future regulation to support the compliance activity
- Serve as the point of contact to develop and drive any activities related to information security
- Play an active role in Disaster Recovery and Business continuity framework implementation
- Produce Cybersecurity Key performance indicator
Cybersecurity solution review and project
- Act as contributor in the server end of Life Cycle project and ensure new server baseline is properly deployed and secure
- Define security project deliverables and estimate efforts
- Review solution architecture and provide recommendation to better detect, protect and monitor cyber threats for all key systems in use in the company
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Overall 4+ years of information security consulting, security operations or advisory
- Undergraduate degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field
- AZ-500 certification, a strong asset
- Working experience on one or more industry frameworks / standards (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE Frameworks, ISO 27001) and cybersecurity and data privacy laws/regulations (e.g. PIPEDA, GDPR)
- Good Project Management skills following PMO processes
- Knowledge of information security and risk mitigation principles
- Very strong written and communication skills to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work with teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well under pressure and time constraints and can prioritize competing priorities appropriately
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Experienced with Threat assessment tools (Nessus Tenable and Security scorecard) an asset
- Experience with Web proxy (Zscaler), Micro segmentation (Illumio), Web application Firewall (Imperva), an asset
- Network Security specialist Cisco Certified (CCNA), an asset
- CISSP certification is a strong asset
- Excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
