Job title: IT Director
Job description: Alteo is looking for an IT Manager for a permanent position based in the Eastern Townships.
*** 2 days in the office / 3 days remote ***
Reporting to the President, your main task will be to plan and implement the activities of the IT department in an approach aimed at positioning IT as a strategic partner promoting the company’s growth.
Responsibilities:
– Work collaboratively with the executive team to identify technology solutions to improve the competitiveness and performance of the business ;
– Train and manage teams of IT specialists to design, develop, implement and administer computer telecommunications software and computer networks;
– Support its business partners in achieving their business objectives through the development and implementation of appropriate innovative projects;
– Oversee the planning, development, procurement and execution of all technology, telephony and related infrastructure systems;
– Develops and implements policies and procedures for internal and external IT application operations and development;
– Recruit, supervise, and provide personal development and training for computer programmers, analysts, engineers, and technicians;
– Manage the company’s business intelligence reports;
– Provide medium to long term vision and direction;
– Monitor the department’s budget and expenses;
Profile:
– DEC/BAC in computer science or equivalent
– 10+ years of experience in IT
– 3+ years experience as an IT manager
– Good general IT knowledge: systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design, programming, network design, programming etc.
– Customer focus, results oriented, good judgment, courage to act and engaging communication
– Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
– Dynamic, rigorous, creative, passionate, winning attitude
– Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
