Job Description:

We are seeking an agile oriented IT Project Delivery Manager (SRM) for the Dealer RUN and Wealth team, a high-performing Kanban team dedicated to Dealer initiatives Items in the backlog include Vendor Upgrades, Client Focused Reforms, Anti-Money Laundering enhancements, in addition to business maintenance initiatives. What Will you Do?

• Own business relationships with the Dealer RUN and Wealth sponsor and stakeholders
• Responsible for working with all required stakeholders to understand decision making and prioritization
• Ensure that business needs as well as client and advisor experiences are well understood
• Lead and facilitate conversations with leaders across the organization
• Supplier relationship manager for 3 vendors
• Work with Project Managers to support in flight work and act as an escalation point for risks, issues, blockers
• Own Dealer RUN and Wealth team intake and discovery process

What do you need to Succeed?

• Strong relationship and vendor management skills
• An agile mindset, with experience managing flow in a Kanban system
• A curiosity about advisor-facing technology
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to manage intake, discovery and changing priorities
• Strong communication skills and an ability to influence
• KMP certification is an asset
• Dealer knowledge is an asset

Additional Requirements

Team members are located in Canada and India, so a preference will be given to individuals who can support an earlier workday as required.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
