We are currently seeking a IT Project Management Advisor to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

IT Data Warehouse Project Manager Advisor

Responsibilities:

• Defines the value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline, and budget for projects.
• Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital) to achieve the project objectives on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Manages the delivery of multiple project initiatives designed to enhance the services and level of support provided to the client.
• Responsibilities include the overall planning, direction, prioritization, and delivery of all projects in a manner aligned with the client’s expectations and business needs.
• Ensures the ongoing process/system capabilities associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs.
• Directs the activities of consultants, analysts, specialists, and sub-contractors.
• Ensures appropriate resources are maintained and appropriately allocated to facilitate the successful completion of multiple projects.
• May also be responsible for Project Management Office (PMO) activities such as methodology development, project quality assurance, and competency development.

Qualifications:

• Individuals must have a deep understanding of data warehouse environments and projects with a broad understanding of operational source systems and applications and infrastructure.
• Requires 8+ years relevant experience in Data and Intelligence-Data Warehouse-Teradata
• Requires 8+ years relevant experience in Data and Intelligence-Analytics-BI Reporting-Teradata
• Projects will have small to medium size teams and will be globally dispersed, both with IT applications, Infrastructure, and business team members.
• Work closely with NTT Data – data warehouse delivery management to deliver excellent support and projects. Able to handle diverse issues and lead projects that contribute to the company’s success. Manages a broad, complex portfolio of projects.
• The projects and programs usually have a global impact and have complex business and technical challenges.
• Defines program value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline, and budget for global programs.
• Viewed internally as a project management expert.
• Create and track project plans for small to medium size data warehouse projects.
• Monitors project performance in the Project Reporting System.
• Conducts project management (PM) Metrics and Practices Reviews.
