One of our major banking clients is looking for an IT Recruiter (Bank)
Length: 6 months contract with a possibility of extension or permanent
Location: Remote- Canada
Line of business: Recruitment, Technology and Operations
Hours: 9am – 5pm

ROLE MANDATE:
The selected candidate(s) will assist the recruitment team in conducting high volume initial technical candidate screenings for the Black Professionals Technical Network (BPTN) Summit scheduled for the fall.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for assisting with sourcing, screening, and evaluation of candidates.
  • Candidates(s) will also ensure accurate documentation of screening and evaluations of candidates in consideration.
  • Review applications and resumes to determine qualifications and relevance to job requirements
  • Interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit with company culture
  • Make recommendations for hire based on screenings.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience and education
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical talent skillsets (data science, machine learning, AI, developers, cloud engineers, etc.) and ability to make hiring recommendations based on screenings.
  • Experience with reading and screening resumes.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests at one time and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders of all seniorities.
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Ability to work with deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction in a virtual environment
  • Previous FI or Recruitment Agency experience nice to have
  • Ideal candidate(s) will have an interest and/or previous experience in Diversity and Inclusion
