We are the MIS (Management Information Systems) team at Fortinet. We are passionate about building, improving, and maintaining various information systems that serve our employees worldwide, as well as some consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service reliability, resiliency and security is our top priority. As we expand our global IT infrastructure, we are currently seeking for candidates experienced in System Administration, Automation, CI/CD, Service Reliability engineering who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to maintain various information system including vSphere, Microsoft Exchange, DNS and PKI.
- Measure, monitor and optimize service performance.
- Troubleshoot incidents during service operations.
- Design, implement and deploy highly available service.
- Monitor and improve system availability to meet defined SLA.
- Design and write automation scripts throughout the service lifecycle.
- Research, experiment and evaluate innovative technologies to improve existing services.
- Provide support for users of our global services.
Job Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field.
- 5+ years Linux and Windows system administration experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in using Bash/Python/PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting skills under high pressure.
- Experience with Git version control system: GitHub, GitLab or equivalent products.
- Familiar with System Hardening standards/controls, such as CIS.
- Familiar with Automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack or Terraform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Experience Preferred:
- Experience with Containerized environment: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with ElasticSearch data analysis and service monitoring.
- Experience with AWS or OpenStack automation.
- Experience with KVM (Kernel based Virtual Machine).
