Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the IT Support Specialist is responsible for answering employee questions and troubleshooting any related problems about technology-based products and services within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct technical support to end-users
• Monitor network security and availability
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure deadlines are respected
• Quarterly training
• Installation, setup, management, and troubleshooting of:

– Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint)
– Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
– Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
– Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online
– Microsoft Windows PCs and Servers
– Mac OS X for In-House Designers
– Microsoft-based Software
– Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
– Networking Equipment (firewalls, switches, UPS)
– Advanced Antivirus Solutions
– Cloud Backup solutions
– Firewall experience (Fortinet)
– VOIP (3CX)
– Printers

Qualifications:

• College diploma (DEC or DEP) in computer science or equivalent technical diploma
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and French
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology
• Excellent organization and documentation skills
• A strong desire to help end-users
• Essential: punctual and reliable
• Essential: self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team
