Job description: ABOUT THE JOB
Our client, a leader in B2B and B2C order fulfillment, is growing and looking for an IT Technician.

In collaboration with the other members of the IT team, the IT Support Technician ensures the proper functioning of the company’s computer systems. The candidate will maintain and administer the various computer systems in place, as well as ensure continuity of operations. Likewise, the candidate will participate in the optimization and constant technological development of the company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

– Perform troubleshooting and follow up with internal users in a timely manner
– Diagnose recurring problems, find sustainable solutions and implement them
– Configure equipment and perform installations with users
– Participate in various computer projects, installations and optimization of various computer infrastructures
– Set up and deploy computer stations, telephony and access cards for new team members
– Write adequate documentation of requests (status, progress, history)
– Provide training, when necessary, to the various teams on the equipment and software used

OUR REQUIREMENTS
– Two (2) years of significant experience in computer science
– Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) or equivalent in the computer field
– Ability to perfect and continuously improve computer knowledge
– Good sense of organization, structure and autonomy
– Ability to listen, communicate and document problems and solutions effectively
– Bilingual – English and French – an asset
– Mastery of the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems and Microsoft Office
– Knowledge of virtualization, IP telephony and TCP/IP networks
– Knowledge of Citrix, Motorola, Watchguard, Exchange, SQL, Linux, excellent assets
