Job description: ABOUT THE JOB
Our client, a large multinational company located in Brossard, is looking for a level 1 computer support technician.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Evaluate the level of severity of requests and prioritize accordingly
– Resolve requests according to the level of knowledge of possible solutions and according to the available documentation
– Assign complex requests to existing solutions owners
– Follow up on open requests and take immediate action to ensure complete processing
– Ensure the succession and follow-up of the requests

OUR REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an IT support position
– AEC in computer science or any other combination of relevant training and experience
– Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software and network problems
– Patience and excellent communication skills
– Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
– Attention to detail – ability to actively listen and identify problems from the customer’s description
– Motivated and committed to continuous learning in the IT environment
– Bilingual – English and French (spoken/written)
– Knowledge of Google Suite (G Suite)
– Knowledge of JIRA Service Desk
