Job title: IT Support Trainer
Job description: Brandt is currently looking for an IT Support Trainer in our Regina location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs to enhance employees’ technical skills and proficiency in using various software applications, hardware devices, and IT systems.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, including presentations, user guides, tutorials, and online resources.
- Conduct interactive and hands-on training sessions for IT Department New Hires and IT Staff
- Customize training content to meet the needs of different departments and job roles within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and updates to ensure training materials are accurate and relevant.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees who require additional assistance beyond training sessions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, quizzes, and feedback collection; make improvements based on results.
- Assist in the development of e-learning modules and online training courses to support remote learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify common user challenges and incorporate solutions into training content.
- Organize and coordinate training schedules, locations, and resources.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the training program based on feedback and changing technology trends.
- Act as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide timely responses to employees.

Required Skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in e-learning tools and platforms is a plus.
- Patient and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and resources effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to address user challenges and questions during training.
- A passion for technology and a desire to empower others with technical knowledge.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various software applications, operating systems, hardware devices, and IT systems.
- Creating, Updating and Maintaining Knowledge Base Material
- Experience developing training materials, including presentations, user guides, and tutorials.
- Certifications in training and instructional design are an asset
- Degree or Post Secondary Education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is an asset but not required.
