About the role

We’re looking for a Senior IT Technical Advisor – Cloud to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

• Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the cloud infrastructure on various Cloud platforms – Azure, AWS, etc
• Work with various internal IS, IT and SE Teams to understand and implement their target cloud architecture needs
• Working in close collaboration with IS Cloud Architect – Implement detailed-level cloud infrastructure architecture designs
• Executes and supervises project integration tasks by performing installation, configuration, and documentation according to the architectural design provided using:

• Advanced CI CD Techniques
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Configuration as Code (CaC)
• Lead & Coordinate infrastructure requests for change (RFC) various IS activities including impact analysis, scheduling, approvals, backout plan, post implementation reports
• Participate in conducting gap analysis between the existing infrastructure and the infrastructure required to support cloud solutions
• Lead & Coordinate the resolution of any Cloud Infrastructure issues throughout the lifecycle of a project
• Leads & Coordinate Operationalization activities with various, IS, IT, SE & DevOps Teams
• Engage with technical stakeholders, such as Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, IT Security & ISM
• Present to the architecture peer review board to gain approval of operationalization of solution, and to ensure that decisions are made with the overall best interest of the enterprise vision in mind

What you bring to the table:

• Degree or Diploma in Networking or Technology, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
• 3 years’ experience, implementing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions. – Azure, AWS, etc
• 3 years’ experience implementing, executing and supporting foundational cloud services – networking, security, account/organizations, logging & monitoring, identity access management, etc
• Experience with DevOps tools in a cloud environment
• Experience with CI/CD and automated delivery systems
• Experience working in AWS via the CLI and management console. Knowledge and experience architecting and configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs)
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code using cloud formation templates,Terraform and/or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Cloud integration best practices
• Cloud certification(s) a plus – AWS, Azure, GCP
