Job description: Alteo is looking for a IT Technician for a permanent position based in Boisbriand.

Responsibilities:

– Provide desktop support, follow-up and resolution of first and second level incidents
– Conduct a wide range of interventions with numerous external customers
– Track, resolve and document internal/external service calls in the ticket center
– Support the Infrastructure team in their work (networks, maintenance, alert tracking)
– Install and configure workstations from operating system to application and software configuration and support.
– Perform tasks related to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of operational and office systems and their peripherals.
– Ensure the updating of the documentation necessary for the operation of its activities.
– Rigorously follow up on the hardware inventory, warranties, licenses and software.
– Diagnose defective equipment and make the necessary repairs.
– Performs all other tasks assigned by his/her immediate superior or related to the function.

Profile:

– AEC/DEC in computer science or equivalent
– 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
– Mastery of Windows 10, Microsoft 365 environment, Active Directory, Knowledge of Internet networks (Ethernet, IP, DNS, Email)
– Knowledge of MAC workstations
– Ability to work in a variety of technical environments
– Excellent knowledge of Office 365 services
– Good knowledge of video conferencing systems and IP telephony
– Customer oriented approach
– Sense of urgency
– Leadership, influencing and problem solving skills
– Ability to maintain productive working relationships with internal and external collaborators
– Good communicator with good analytical and synthesis skills
– Sense of initiative, autonomy, creativity and flexibility
– Ability to plan and manage different files at the same time
– Versatility, enthusiasm and attention to detail
– Ideally bilingual (French required, English functional)
