Job title: IT Technician Level 3
Job description:
- Provide 1st or 2nd level support to our on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure with a goal of 24×7 availability
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT infrastructure including user computers, servers, storage and network connectivity
- Participate in infrastructure planning associated with IT business projects
- Manage user access to systems
- Research, evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that meet the organization’s objectives
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of all IT operations support services and tools
- Verify and monitor backups for all systems in cooperation with the managed service team
- Degree in computer science, network administration, web technology or any other related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
- Certification a major asset, CCNA, CCNA Voice, CCNP, MCSE, MCSA or other
- Hands-on experience and/or working knowledge of the following: Active Directory, MS Exchange 2013 and O365, VMWare, configuration, troubleshooting, Windows desktop and laptop management, IOS and Android mobile devices, Wi-Fi and access points, MS servers, SAN storage, network and switch management, Veeam
- Excellent time/task/project management skills
- Bilingualism essential (French and English, spoken and written)
