We are looking for an IT Technician for one of our clients located in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent position – salary between $70,000 and $80,000 depending on experience.

Your missions:

Job description:

• Administer and configure the various specialized teaching and simulation facilities.
• Ensure the availability, stability and performance of computer products supporting the activities of the facilities under your responsibility
• Supervise the proper functioning of gateways with other systems
• Coordinate application maintenance activities with the operations of various clients and service providers
• Manage user accounts and privileges on simulation solutions.
• Train and support operators to achieve maximum operational autonomy.

Profile description:

• Degree in computer science or in a discipline deemed relevant.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the installation and maintenance of computer equipment (servers, switches, SAN, VLAN, UPS’ VPN and workstations).
• Excellent computer knowledge (Windows, system configuration, SCCM, etc.).
• Knowledge and skills in the selection, configuration and maintenance of audio-visual components peripheral to these facilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Work experience: 3-4 years
